THE (other) TRIPLE CROWN DERBY
The Packness Derby The FKSC will hold it's 1st Annual Packness Derby Race as a part of the Fort Knox Triple Crown on the weekend of 5 MAR 06. This event is race 2 in the Pinewood Derby series, with Race 1 consisting of the individual Cub Scout Pack Derby's, and Race 3 being the Lincoln Trail District Pinewood Derby at the Elizabethtown Towne Mall. The Packness Derby will be an opportunity for Cub Scouts that have placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in their divisions at their Pack Derby, to compete for the Packness trophy in their division. But that's not all! ! !There will be 2 other brackets other than
the Cub Scout Bracket. In addition to providing "the next level"
for the Cub Scouts at Ft Knox, this Race will open the education
and thrill of Derby Racing to Girl Scouts in the first "Girl
Scout Bracket". Finally, we will have a "Corporate Bracket".
Businesses in this bracket will race in heats interwoven throughout
the other 2 brackets. This is why we've requested your assistance.

please contact us at operations@knoxscouting.org Cub Scouts, and Corporate participants should follow the official rules listed below. You must use an official BSA pinewood derby car. A car can be purchased at the local Schwinn shop in Radcliff, or bought on line by clicking on the below link.
