Advancement has been an important part of our organization since 1911.

In that same tradition, a variety of awards are available to Venturers who accomplish specific advancement achievements. These awards include:

• Venturing Bronze Award - First award you can earn
  
• Venturing Gold Award - Next award you can earn
  
• Venturing Silver Award - Highest award you can earn in Venturing
  
• Venturing Ranger Award - Can you be the best?
  
• Quest Fitness and Sports Award
  
• Sea Scouting Quartermaster Award

Other awards designed to provide recognition for youth and adults include:

• Venturing Leadership Award
  
• Venturing Advisor Award of Merit
  
• Young American Award
